Eli Vieira is a Brazilian biologist turned journalist, with a Master's in genetics from Cambridge University. He founded the Secular Humanist League of Brazil in 2009 and has spoken at the Brazilian Senate against affirmative action. His academic papers have been cited more than 600 times.
