Identity
Identity has become an incredibly popular term. But what exactly is it? Does anything exist outside of it? How and where are these boundaries located? And who among us gets to decide?
At Queer Majority, we believe all people have the right to sexual and romantic freedom. Taboos often restrict such freedom, so we challenge the stigmatization of healthy practices by positioning them as normal.
Activism is more than just knocking on doors and handing out fliers. So, we look outside the box to consider not only what it is, but also who does it, why they do it, what challenges they face and what problems they seek to address.
Language is an essential, yet hopelessly imperfect tool. Is it possible to acknowledge its importance without getting stuck in endless debate?
To continue making progress toward sexual freedom and equality, we must change our current mindset and begin anew.
