Helen Pluckrose is a political and cultural writer, liberal humanist, and commentator. Helen co-authored the book Cynical Theories with James Lindsay and also wrote The Counterweight Handbook.
Her writing has focused on the evolution of postmodern thought into contemporary Critical Social Justice activism which she regards as counterproductive to the goal of genuine social justice. Helen wants people to value evidence-based knowledge, liberal ethics, and oppose authoritarianism consistently.
