The Sex in My Business: I create art and comics with adult humor which often involve sexuality and gender. Some of my art also includes portraits of sex workers.
A Typical Day: The first several hours of my morning are spent working on art. Then, after lunch, I spend some time with my emails, social media, and other business. When all those tasks are done, it’s time for me to take a nice nap with my cat. What happens after the nap, however, is a blur — but if it happens to be a Wednesday, then I'll probably go out and dance.
The Best Part: I love making comics, creating art and writing stories, so obviously, my work is all pretty enjoyable for me. I am one of those people who has to be creative or else, and this job really satisfies. It’s great.
The Worst Part: With the exception of my cat, I am alone all day. So alone. So very, very alone.
How I Got Here: I have been drawing comics for the past twenty years, although I have had plenty of other jobs during that time, including (but not limited to) stints as a Film Art Director, a Talent Agency Assistant, a Payroll Monkey, and a Webcam Model. Obviously, for the reasons I stated above, I have always preferred making comics at home.
What Society Thinks: My family thinks I'm wasting my life, but Uber drivers think I'm pretty cool. In fact, my best social interactions about my work have been with strangers whom I'll likely never see again.
When I’m Not At Work: I like to dress in black, put on demon horns and go dancing at goth clubs. I also love to do karaoke in public. Seriously. I absolutely love it.
